It is probably a lime mark, any suggestions welcomeHow can I clean a dark mark around the Bath, have tried numerous products without success?
I had a similar problem and I used brasso to remove the stainHow can I clean a dark mark around the Bath, have tried numerous products without success?
I love easy off bam for the bathroom. Use it directly on the stain and let set for about 10 minutes then use a washcloth to wipe the stain away. That is the only thing that I use to clean the tub with other than the occassional bleaching to kill bacteria.

THE BATHTUB HAS MORE GERMS AND BACTERIA THAN ANY OTHER SURFACE IN THE BATHROOM!
Ask at your DIY store for Barman's Friend - a powder that you mix into a paste ; that should shift it.
is it a tin bath?
Dont use cidic bang the stuff actually will remove the enamel off your bath.

Bleach works for me.
Have you just moved into a house with a filthy bath, cos otherwise how come you let it get so dirty?
CLR is the best! I swear it cleans anything. You can find it at most grocery stores or any home imp. store.
Fill the bath with cold water and pour in a bottle of bleach. Leave it like that for several hours and then rinse and the mark should disappear. Also, Ajax scoring powder is very good, if you can still get it.
get lime away or use sos pad or use straight bleach
Lots of water and a 'wet and dry' fine emery paper. You need to rub it with the emery paper hard enough to take out the lime but not too hard to scratch the enamel or plastic of the bath.
It depends if the mark has been there a very long time. Try soda. Don't use abrasive pad. Try bleach just round the mark.
