Please be aware that the FDA regulates homemade bath products. I found one good reference about that. I have a friend who wanted to make such products, but gave up due to these regulations. Citric acid is a great preservitive, I have been making bath bombs for ten years. You don't need anything other than citric acid, easy as that, its the number two ingredient

Natural is not the same as non-toxic or safe. What are the ingredients and do you mean preserve against biologic decay or chemical decomposition?
