that won't irritate my skin - any ideas?
Don't want to go to Lush as I haven't much money.
Also I like the smell of rose.
I have dry skin and dry hair.
Any ideas? ThanksHow to make natural vegetarian soaps and bath products?
i saw a cool idea on martha stewart to get some gelatin soap and bring it to a slow boil (i think you can buy this at any craft store..). meanwhile you buy a loofah stock and cut it into thin slices.. like .1/4 to 1/2 an inch. you place the loofah slices into these flat little wax baking cups (similar to those paper cups you bake cup cakes and muffins in.. but wider and flatter). after that you slowly pour out the liquid soap into the cups on top of the loofah slice. put it in the refrigerator and let it cool so its solid. i thought it was really neat. also, if you want more of an exfoliant you can add crushed up apricot seeds into the liquid soap and mix it before you pour it.
after its dry you can just pop it out of the mold and there you've made your own soap! i believe you can add rose oil or other natural ingredients if you want!
sorry if thats confusing. i saw that episode over a year ago...How to make natural vegetarian soaps and bath products?
uh... don't use soap bars...unless your interested in dry, wrinkly skin.
Use a liquid.. and get another job to buy it.
Don't even bother making it. Its not worth it... make something else
